Traditional Italian Peasant Food – Bean & Pasta Soup!

pasta-fagioli If you haven’t been to Italy you haven’t lived. But if you have and didn’t have pasta fagioli in Italy then you my friend, are an idiot!
The best Italian food is all peasant food. Pasta, beans, tomato sauce, etc…all very inexpensive foods that are affordable to everyone. It gets no cheaper than pasta fagioli! it’s nothing more than beans and pasta with a few veggies added in! But trust me, it’s SOOO good!
What You’ll Need:
3 (15oz cans) Cannellini beans, drained & rinsed (white kidney beans)
1 Onion
2 Stalks of Celery
5 small Cloves of peeled Garlic (NOT chopped!)
½ cup of pasta Sauce, or a can of crushed tomatoes if that’s all you have.
