One of my favorite things ever is mussels. I know a lot of people who are intimidated to make mussels at home. They think it’s tricky or they don’t think they can make the sauce. But in reality it’s so simple and so easy to make! Of course you have to have bread to dip in the sauce! Don’t be afraid to make mussels. The key is to use olive oil and white wine with shallots and garlic, with a splash of red wine vinegar right at the end!

what you need:
2 pounds mussels
4 cloves garlic
red wine vinegar
in a skillet sautee shallots and garlic and tomatoes in the olive oil. add mussells and white wine and cover for 7 – 10 minutes or until all mussels are open. add splash of red wine vinegar and stir. Add some chopped parsley if you like. Its adds a nice look and some freshness to it as well!
serve with cut fresh crusted bread for dipping into the sauce! It’s that simple!
