Mariah’s Lamb Meatball Sandwich

One of my favorite meats is lamb and my lamb meatballs are a great way to spice up left over pasta or even better, to use left over tomato sauce and make an awesome meatball sandwich! This is my special lamb meatball recipe that you will love!
what you need:
1lb ground lamb
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup parsley
1 french bread or hoagie roll
leftover tomato sauce
olive oil
table wine
grated parmesan or pecorino cheese
in a skillet heat some olive oil and pour in your leftover tomato sauce. stir until even and bring to a bubble
mix lamb egg and bread crumbs in a large glass bowl with your hands until evenly mixed.
form a large ball with the meat mixture. begin tearing pieces off the ball and forming small round meatballs.
add meatballs to your sauce and stir until meatballs are covered with sauce. cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. stir again and reduce to a simmer for another 10 – 15 minutes until lamb is cooked through.
just before removing meatballs pour 1/4 cup of white wine into your sauce and mix well.
place your meatballs onto your bread and spoon some sauce on top. add Parmesan or pecorino cheese and enjoy!
Mangia!
