Sirloin Steak with Garlic Shrimp Crust
I love to play around with different toppings for things and this one turned out so well my friends always ask me to make it for them!
I take a sirloin which is one of the leanest cuts of meat and I buy it thick and butterfly it.
I salt and pepper it and lay it open faced on a roasting rack. I place it face down under the broiler.
While that’s broiling I placed my de-veined shrimp and garlic cloves into my magic bullet blender and pour in 2 tbsp of olive oil and
blend it until its nice and thick. if you put too much olive oil it will be too runny to spread on your steak and it won’t create the crust.
When its time to turn my steak over instead I take it out and spread my shrimp and garlic sauce on top and placed it back under the
broiler until a gorgeous crust forms on top.
this is a no carb meal and one of the best steak toppings I’ve had.
